[ He takes her hand gingerly and shakes it, on account of both of them being beat up from last week. It really hasn't even been that long since the incident that caused all this. ]

[ he is about to thank her, but then the scene hits, and he is taken back over five years ago from a completely different perspective. it's enough to leave him dizzy when they return to the present, after he apparently sees the shape of a goddess and the ebb and flow of time itself.

it's just off enough from reality to be even stranger than some of the more outlandish memories he's seen. he blinks, looking over at her in confusion.
