Putting it that way sounds kind of weird... but in a way, yeah. We've already come up with some formulas to borrow their power in order to perform magic... and I've got an idea of how we might be able to develop new technology using this power.
I managed on my own for a long while, but it's hard to deny how much easier it is with a healer watching out for me, or a swordsman keeping monsters off my back.
